Spicy Watermelon Margarita

This refreshing Spicy Watermelon Margarita combines smoky mezcal, fresh watermelon, zesty lime, and a kick of jalapeño. Perfect for a poolside party or a festive outdoor gathering.

Instructions

    Add the watermelon chunks (2 cup) to a blender or food processor. Blend until liquified.

    Strain the watermelon juice through a sieve, cheesecloth, or nut bag. If desired, reserve the pulp and freeze it for [ice cubes].

    Fill two glasses with [ice]. Pour watermelon juice (0.75 cup) into each glass. Next, divide the [lime juice] between the two glasses.

    Add pepper slices (2 jalapeno) and plain seltzer water (0.5 cup) to each glass.

    Top the glasses with mezcal (0.25 cup). Stir lightly to combine and serve cold! Garnish with [lime wheels or wedges].
