
Vegan Gravy
This vegan gravy is incredibly simple and delicious, perfect for topping mashed potatoes or anything else! Made with just seven ingredients, it offers a rich and savory flavor that closely mimics traditional turkey gravy, making it an ideal addition to any meal, especially holiday feasts.

Place the vegan butter (0.25 cup) into a medium saucepan and set it over medium heat.

When the [vegan butter] has melted and begins to bubble, add the onion (1 medium).

Sweat the [medium onion] for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft and translucent.

Begin whisking in the all purpose flour (0.25 cup), a bit at a time, to form a thick paste coating the [medium onion].

Slowly whisk in the vegetable broth (3 cups), a bit at a time, then the soy sauce (2 tablespoons), vegan worcestershire (1 tablespoon), and poultry seasoning (1 teaspoon).

Whisk until smooth, raise the heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Lower heat and allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes, until nicely thickened.

Add [water] if you'd like a thinner gravy. If you'd like a thicker gravy, ladle out some of the gravy into a small bowl or cup and whisk in a bit of [all purpose flour] to form a slurry, then whisk the slurry into the pot.
