
Cauliflower Steaks with Gravy
Grilled, pan-fried, air-fried, or roasted cauliflower steaks are tender inside and super crispy and caramelized. Served with a delicious hearty mushroom gravy, this low-carb, vegan, gluten-free, paleo appetizer, side, or main is sure to impress.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Slice the cauliflower (1 head) into 1-inch thick slices, rub with olive oil (1 tbsp) and sprinkle with [salt and pepper]. Bake for 45 minutes.

While the cauliflower is baking, heat the remaining olive oil (1 tbsp) in a saucepan. Cook the yellow onion (1 diced) until translucent. Add sliced mushrooms (16 ounces) and cook until tender.

Add fresh chopped sage (2 tsp), fresh chopped thyme (2 tsp), garlic cloves (2 minced), salt (0.5 tsp), and [pepper to taste]. Cook until fragrant.

Add vegetable broth (1 can) and flour (3 tbsp) (one tablespoon at a time). Stir until gravy thickens.
