
Low FODMAP Pesto
This bright and savory pesto is garlic-free and low FODMAP, featuring fresh basil and chives. Blend it together in minutes for a versatile sauce perfect for pastas, salads, pizzas, and sandwiches.

Add fresh chives (50 g), fresh basil (25 g), pine nuts (35 g), nutritional yeast (30 g), lemon juice (2 tbsp) and salt (0.75 tsp) to a food processor or blender. Blend or pulse until the ingredients are all finely chopped and well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

With the blender running on a medium speed, pour the extra virgin olive oil (0.5 cup) into the blender in a slow and steady stream.

Blend until you reach your desired consistency. Add additional [extra virgin olive oil] if a thinner sauce is preferred. (Optional: Add 1-3 tablespoons more oil for thinner consistency).

Taste and season with more [salt] as needed. Use fresh pesto as desired or transfer to an airtight container for later.
