Sauté onion (1 large) and bell pepper or poblano pepper (1 sweet) with salt (1 tsp) for 3 minutes.

Add ground cumin (1 tbsp) and dried oregano (1 tsp) and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in tomato paste (3 tbsp) and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Add the green lentils (1 cup), red lentils (1 cup), water (3 cups), canned crushed tomatoes (28 oz), vegan worcestershire sauce (2 tbsp), apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp), and optionally maple syrup (2 tbsp). Stir thoroughly, making sure nothing is stuck to the bottom of the pot.

Bring to high pressure and cook for 13 minutes.

Allow for a natural release, stir, and serve over toasted hamburger buns.

Optional: Stir in vegan ground beef (1 cup) after pressure is released and simmer on sauté function before serving.
