Instructions

    Use the sauté setting over normal, or medium heat, and heat the water (2 tbsp).

    Saute the minced onion (0.5 cup) until they become transparent, and add more [water] as needed. Then add the minced garlic (1 tsp), smoked paprika (0.5 tsp) and liquid smoke (0.25 tsp). Saute a minute more.

    Add the dried black-eyed peas (1.5 cup), water (3 cup), and bouillon cube (1 vegan), then put the lid on and make sure that the vent is sealed.

    Cook on manual setting at high pressure and set for 25 minutes.

    Allow the pressure to release naturally. Stir in the nutritional yeast (2 tbsp), [salt and pepper], then serve.
