
Cauliflower Steaks

Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F (392°F).

In a small bowl, combine extra virgin olive oil (2 tbsp), smoked paprika (1 tsp), garlic powder (0.5 tsp), cumin powder (0.5 tsp), chili powder (0.25 tsp), [salt] and [black pepper]. Stir to create the marinade.

Prepare the cauliflower head (1 medium): slice a thin piece off the bottom stem, keeping the core intact. Place on a chopping board with the stem side down and slice into 0.5-inch (1 cm) thick "steaks". (Note: some florets may detach, these can also be seasoned and cooked).

Arrange the [cauliflower steaks] on a baking sheet, oven tray, or in an air fryer. Brush both sides of the steaks generously with the prepared marinade.

Roast the [cauliflower steaks] for 15-20 minutes in the oven or 10-15 minutes in the air fryer, until golden-brown and fork-tender. Serve with a sprinkle of [chopped parsley] and [pomegranate seeds].
