
Vegan Teriyaki Sauce
This easy, sticky sweet, salty, tangy vegan teriyaki sauce comes together in just 10 minutes as a drool-worthy marinade, glaze, sauce, and dip! It's oil-free and easily adjustable to gluten-free or sugar-free diets.

In a medium pot, whisk together water (1 cup), soy sauce (0.5 cup), brown sugar (0.25 cup), maple syrup (1 tbsp), minced fresh ginger (1 tsp), cloves garlic (2 small), ground ginger (0.5 tsp), garlic powder (0.5 tsp), and apple cider vinegar (0.5 tsp).

In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch (2 tbsp) and the remaining water (0.25 cup) to create a slurry. Add this slurry to the pot.

Place the pot over high heat and whisk consistently while bringing to a boil. Allow the sauce to boil for 5 minutes, or until thickened. Remove from heat and pour into a glass container.
