
Vegan French Toast
These delicious vegan French toast slices are made with just a few ingredients, yielding a perfectly crispy exterior and a tender, soft interior. This quick and easy breakfast is ready in just 30 minutes, making it ideal for a special weekend treat or a delightful morning meal.

In a bowl, combine the vegan milk (1 cup), flax meal (1 tbsp), maple syrup (1 tbsp) (optional), vanilla extract (1 tsp), and cinnamon (0.5 tsp). Whisk vigorously and place in freezer for 15 minutes to thicken.

Once the batter has thickened, whisk it again.

Heat vegan butter (2 tbsp) (or oil) in a pan or on a griddle over medium-high heat until melted and hot.

Dip [thick sandwich bread slices] into the batter until coated (do NOT soak them). Place in the hot pan and pan-fry each side for 3 to 5 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Start with one slice to test the heat and adjust as needed.

Add more [vegan butter] as needed and continue to cook the remaining slices.
