
Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake
This vegan chocolate mug cake is an incredible dessert that comes together in under 5 minutes from start to finish. It boasts an addictive, rich chocolate flavor, making it the perfect single-serving treat for any chocolate craving.

In a mug, add the oil (1 tbsp), vegan milk (3 tbsp), granulated sugar (2 tbsp), and unsweetened cocoa powder (2 tbsp). Whisk for about 15 seconds. Then, add the all purpose flour (3 tbsp), baking powder (0.25 tsp), sea salt (0.125 tsp), and vanilla extract (0.5 tsp).

Stir everything together for about 30 seconds, ensuring the bottom of the mug is fully incorporated. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips (1 tbsp), sprinkling some on top if desired.

For microwave: Place the mug in your microwave for 65 seconds (for an 1100W microwave). Adjust cooking time slightly for lower wattage microwaves, but do NOT exceed 70 seconds to avoid a dry cake. It's better to be slightly undercooked as it will continue to cook while cooling. Remove and let cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.

For oven: Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake in a 3.5-inch oven-safe ramekin for 25 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for about 5 minutes before enjoying.
