
Chocolate Sweet Potato Milkshake
This decadent vegan chocolate milkshake offers a healthy twist on the classic treat. Made with nutrient-dense sweet potatoes and frozen bananas, it has a velvety, thick texture without any dairy. Raw cacao adds deep chocolate notes and antioxidants, while cinnamon and ginger provide a subtle warmth. Perfect for a satisfying breakfast or a guilt-free dessert, it can be served plain or dressed up with vegan whipped cream and dark chocolate chips.

Preheat your oven to 400ºF/200ºC. Pierce several holes in the skins of sweet potatoes (2) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 50 minutes or until completely tender.

Once cool enough to handle, remove the skins. In a high-powered blender, combine the potato flesh with plant-based milk (3 cup), frozen bananas (3), raw cacao powder (0.25 cup), maple syrup (2 tbsp), ground cinnamon (1 tsp), and ground ginger (0.5 tsp).

Blend on high until the mixture is thick, smooth, and fully pureed. Adjust sweetness with additional syrup if needed.
