In a large pot, warm the olive oil (2 tbsp) over medium heat. Add the yellow onion (1 small) and stir for about 5 minutes, until translucent.

To the pot, add the blackstrap molasses (0.25 cup), brown sugar (0.25 cup), pure maple syrup (0.25 cup), ketchup (0.5 cup), salt (1 tsp), smoked paprika (1 tsp), apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp), vegan Worcestershire sauce (1 tbsp), yellow mustard (1 tbsp), sriracha hot sauce (1.5 tsp) and water (0.5 cup). Stir well, then add the small navy beans (2 15-ounce).

Transfer to a 2-quart casserole dish (or use a dutch oven or other oven-safe pot) and cover with foil or an oven-safe lid. Bake for 1 hour, then remove the foil/lid and cook for 30 more minutes.
