Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine self raising flour (1.75 cup) and plain vegan greek yogurt (1 cup). Mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until a thick ball of dough forms.

  3. 3

Lightly dust a clean kitchen surface with extra flour. Transfer the dough and gently knead it on both sides, flattening it into a circular disk.

  4. 4

Slice the dough circle into 4 even portions. Use your hands to roll each piece into a thin rope, then join the ends together to form a ring.

  5. 5

Place the bagels on the prepared tray. Lightly brush the tops with plant based butter (1 tbsp) and sprinkle with sesame seeds (1 tbsp) and poppy seeds (1 tbsp).

  6. 6

Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
