Instructions

    Place the raw cashews (0.75 cup) in a heat-proof bowl and soak in boiling [water] for at least 1 hour, or overnight.

    Drain the cashews and add to a blender or food processor, along with the firm tofu (11.464 oz), garlic cloves (2 clove), lemon (0.5) juice, apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp), garlic powder (2 tsp), onion powder (2 tsp), salt (1 tsp), and ground black pepper (0.5 tsp). Blend until smooth.

    Transfer to a bowl and fold in the fresh chives (0.33 cup), fresh dill (0.33 cup), and fresh basil leaves (0.25 cup).

    Optionally, place the spread in the fridge for 1 hour to set and for the flavors to meld. Enjoy on your favorite toast or bagel with desired toppings.
