
Crispy Everything Bagel Tofu
Crispy baked tofu seasoned generously with everything bagel seasoning. These irresistible tofu sticks are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or a side dish. This vegan, nut-free, and oil-free recipe can also be made gluten-free with simple substitutions.

Press the firm tofu (14 oz) for 15 minutes, then slice into 0.5 inch fingers. Line a baking dish or sheet with parchment or grease lightly. Preheat the oven to 400 deg F (205 C).

In a shallow bowl, mix all purpose flour (2 tbsp), tapioca starch (2 tbsp), soy sauce (2 tsp), garlic powder (0.25 tsp), black pepper (0.25 tsp), salt (0.33 tsp) and water (0.33 cup) for the batter. In another shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs (0.25 cup) and everything bagel seasoning (3 tbsp).

Dip each tofu finger in the batter, then transfer to the breading mixture to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet, leaving an inch between each piece. Optionally, spray with oil.

Bake at 400 deg F (205 C) for 35 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Serve the crisp tofu with [vegan ranch dressing] or vegan blue cheese dressing or hot sauce.
