
Vegan Berry Pop-Tarts

Prepare the compote: Place cup frozen mixed berries (1 heaping) in a [small saucepan] over medium heat. Cook for 5-8 minutes with a [lid] on, stirring occasionally and smashing down. Add raw sugar (1 tsp) to sweeten if desired. Transfer to a bowl to cool.

Prepare crust: Mix all purpose flour (2 cups) and salt (1 pinch) in a [large bowl], then cut in cold vegan butter (0.66 cup) with a [fork] or [pastry cutter] until well combined.
