Instructions

    Add the [10-12 apples], pomegranate (1), orange (1), cinnamon sticks (2 tsp) and maple syrup (2 tbsp) to your crockpot. Immerse with [5-6 cups water]. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or high for 4-5 hours. Alternatively, combine everything in a large soup pot and cook over medium heat for 3 hours until apples break down.

    Carefully strain the mixture through a mesh strainer, discarding the fruit and [cinnamon sticks]. Strain again if a clearer cider is desired. Taste and adjust [maple syrup] as needed. Serve warm or cold. Cider will keep for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
