In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring the vegetable broth (3 cups) and water (3 cups) to a boil. Add the julienned carrot (1 cup), julienned zucchini (1 cup), thinly sliced shiitake mushrooms (1 cup), and broccoli florets (1 cup), reduce the heat, and simmer for minutes (5).
