Press the saute button on your instant pot and saute your chopped (1 onion) in canola oil (2 tbsp) (or a little water or vegetable broth) for about a minute.

Add your chopped (2 carrots) and saute for another minute.

Add leaves (2 bay), dried ground thyme (0.25 tsp), vegetable broth (6 cups), dried red lentils (1 cup), dried brown lentils (1 cup), potato peeled and diced (1 medium) and stir.

Lock the lid in place and push the soup button, setting it for 6 minutes.

Allow the pressure to release naturally.

Remove the lid and discard the [bay leaves].

Stir in salt (1 tsp), [pepper to taste], and frozen corn (1.5 cups).
