To make the mix, combine ground turmeric (4 tbsp), ground ginger (2 tsp), ground cinnamon (2 tsp), ground black pepper (1 tsp), ground nutmeg (0.125 tsp), and ground cloves (0.125 tsp) in a small jar. Shake or stir thoroughly to combine. Store at room temperature for up to 3 months.

To make hot golden milk, add 1 heaping tsp of the prepared mix, maple syrup (1.5 tsp), and hot water (2 tsp) to a small saucepan. Mix into a loose paste. Add coconut milk (1 cup) and whisk over medium heat for minutes (3) until just warm.

To make iced golden milk, mix 1 heaping tsp of the spice blend, maple syrup (1.5 tsp), and hot water (2 tsp) in a serving glass to form a paste. Add ice cubes, top with coconut milk (1 cup), and stir well to combine.
