Add all of the tomatoes (7) (diced), onion (0.5 red) (minced), fresh basil leaves (0.33 cup) (thinly sliced), cloves (2 garlic) (minced), balsamic vinegar (1 tbsp), extra-virgin olive oil (1 tsp), garlic powder (0.5 tsp), salt (0.25 tsp), and ground black pepper (0.125 tsp) to a medium bowl and gently toss until combined.

Although the dish can be enjoyed immediately, it’s best to cover the tomatoes and let them sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld, if possible.

Serve fresh on baguette (1) (toasted rounds). Garnish with fresh basil if desired. Enjoy!
