Add the unsweetened almond milk (1 cup) to a large mug and microwave for 1 minute. Alternatively, add to a saucepan over medium heat.

Once the milk is warm, add the unsweetened cocoa powder (1 tbsp), dairy-free semisweet chocolate (1.5 tbsp), and [sweetener of choice]. Whisk to combine.

Put back in the microwave or continue cooking on the stovetop until completely combined and at your preferred temperature.
