Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9 inch round cake pan. Sift together all-purpose flour (2 cups), baking soda (1 teaspoon), baking powder (1 teaspoon), and sea salt (0.75 teaspoon). Mix well and set aside.

    In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar (1 cup), orange juice (0.5 cup), olive oil (0.5 cup), vanilla (2 teaspoons), and of two oranges (1 zest).

    Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until just combined.

    Pour batter into the cake pan and bake for 35 minutes or until a tester comes out clean and edges of cake have begun to pull away from the pan.

    Allow cake to cool completely before unmolding from pan.
