In a medium pan over medium-high heat, sauté the yellow onion (0.5 medium) and garlic cloves (3 medium) for minute (1). Add diced zucchini (1 cup) and fideo pasta (198.45 g) and sauté until the noodles become a very light brown (1 to 2 minutes).

Add vegetable broth (5 cups), ground cumin (0.5 tbsp), tomatoes (2 roma), and tomato sauce (1 can) and thoroughly combine.
