Combine soy milk (2 cup), black coffee (1 cup), shelled hempseed (0.5 cup), cacao powder (2 tbsp), coconut oil (1 tbsp), ground cinnamon (0.5 tsp), ground ginger (2 pinch), and maple syrup (2 tsp) in a saucepan and whisk well.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. If using a standard blender, simmer for up to 15 minutes to soften the seeds.
