Drain the chickpeas (400 g) over a bowl, reserving the liquid (aquafaba). Add the drained [chickpeas] to a blender or food processor.

If using frozen, run the fresh or frozen peas (150 g) under hot water to thaw. Add the [peas] to the blender along with the tahini (2 tbsp), lemon juice (2 tsp), garlic (1 clove), [pinch salt], [pinch pepper], and aquafaba (4 tbsp).

Blend for mins (5) until the mixture is thick and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender periodically. Add a little more [aquafaba] if needed to achieve desired consistency.
