
Creamy Oat Milk
Homemade oat milk made in under 3 minutes, resulting in a creamy and smooth dairy-free milk. This oat milk is never slimy and offers a perfect dairy-free, nut-free option for your favorite recipes, coffee, or smoothies. Enjoy a versatile plant-based milk without any prep, gums, or thickeners.

Add the rolled oats (1 cup), [4-6 cups chilled filtered water], vanilla extract (1 tsp), optional date (1), and optional cinnamon (1 tsp) to a blender. Blend on high for 30-40 seconds.

Drape a cheesecloth or nut bag over a large bowl. Pour the blended mixture through to separate the oats from the liquid. Do not squeeze the cloth or bag.

Pour the strained oat milk back into the blender. Repeat the straining process once more with the cheesecloth/nut bag to remove any remaining pulp. Again, do not squeeze.

Transfer the double-strained oat milk into a sealed glass jar or container. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
