Instructions

    Mix in corn (0.5 can) and refried beans (0.5 can), then set aside.

    In a large bowl, combine garlic powder (2 tsp), salt (1.5 tsp), and masa harina (2 cups). Gradually add warm water (1.5 cups) until a clay-like dough forms.

    With damp hands, take a small handful of masa dough (about 0.25 cup) and flatten into a 4-inch round. Add a spoonful of filling, pinch up the sides to seal, and pat into a 0.5-inch thick flat, round pupusa. Repeat.

    Heat a non-stick pan with a bit of [oil]. Cook pupusas for mins (4) per side, until golden-brown and crispy.
